Shopify Developer

Design, develop, and maintain Shopify-based ecommerce stores, themes, apps, and integrations for enterprise retail and D2C brands.

- Develop and customize Shopify themes, templates, sections, and components using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Build and maintain Shopify apps, custom features, and integrations with ERP, OMS, WMS, payment, and marketing platforms.
- Optimize store performance, page speed, SEO, accessibility, and conversion rates across devices.
- Implement ecommerce features including product catalogs, collections, cart, checkout, promotions, and subscriptions.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with design, product, marketing, and business teams to deliver high-quality ecommerce experiences.
Required experience
- 3+ years of experience developing Shopify stores, themes, and apps for enterprise or high-growth brands.
- Strong proficiency in Liquid, Shopify theme architecture, Storefront API, and Admin API.
- Experience with JavaScript, React or Vue, Node.js, and REST/GraphQL APIs for Shopify integrations.
- Solid understanding of ecommerce workflows, payment gateways, shipping, taxes, and compliance requirements.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred experience
- Experience with Shopify Plus, headless commerce, Hydrogen, or custom storefront implementations.
- Experience with ecommerce analytics, A/B testing, personalization, and conversion-optimization practices.
- Shopify partner certifications and experience with multi-region or multi-brand ecommerce platforms.
