OMS Senior Developer

Design and develop advanced Order Management System (OMS) features, integrations, and enhancements for enterprise ecommerce and distribution platforms.

- Design and implement complex OMS features for order capture, fulfillment, inventory, pricing, and returns management.
- Develop and maintain APIs, microservices, workflows, data models, and business logic for order-management processes.
- Integrate OMS with ecommerce platforms, ERP, WMS, payment gateways, shipping carriers, and customer-service systems.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with business users, product managers, and engineering teams to deliver reliable and scalable OMS capabilities.
- Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and drive adoption of OMS and integration best practices.
Required experience
- 6+ years of software-development experience with focus on OMS, ecommerce, or retail technology platforms.
- Strong understanding of order-management processes, inventory, fulfillment, shipping, and returns workflows.
- Experience with backend development using Java, .NET, Node.js, or similar technologies.
- Solid experience with databases, SQL, APIs, messaging, and integration patterns.
- Good communication skills and ability to work with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Preferred experience
- Experience with Oracle OMS, Salesforce OMS, custom OMS, or similar enterprise order-management platforms.
- Experience with microservices, event-driven architectures, and real-time order processing.
- Experience with high-volume ecommerce, omnichannel retail, or global order-management operations.
