O9 Engineer

We are hiring an O9 Engineer to support and evolve enterprise planning capabilities across demand forecasting, supply planning, allocation, data integrity, and operational decision-making.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary point of support for O9 Supply Planning and Demand Planning modules, managing incidents from intake through root cause and resolution.
  • Investigate and resolve data-integrity issues between O9 and connected systems, including Oracle EBS, returns feeds, buy-plan extracts, sourcing data, and planning interfaces.
  • Diagnose planning-logic issues including unmet demand, incorrect season codes, planned-order grouping errors, forecast-flow issues, and unexpected buy-date changes.
  • Manage user access and provisioning for new hires, role changes, regional access, and ownership transfers.
  • Track SLAs, prioritize ageing incidents, maintain backlog hygiene, and communicate status to stakeholders.
  • Partner with Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Merchandising, and regional teams to translate business issues into technical root causes.
  • Create and maintain runbooks, root-cause documentation, knowledge-base articles, and repeatable support procedures.
  • Support configuration changes, workflow updates, testing cycles, platform upgrades, and vendor escalation.

Required experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting or implementing O9 Solutions.
  • Strong understanding of retail supply-chain planning, including demand forecasting, supply planning, buy planning, allocation, assortment, and season/style-colour management.
  • Experience integrating planning systems with ERP platforms, ideally Oracle EBS.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across source data, integrations, planning logic, data flows, and platform configuration.
  • Experience using ServiceNow or a comparable ITSM platform for incident management, ticket queues, SLAs, and production support.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for data investigation, validation, and reconciliation.
  • Excellent written communication skills and confidence working with global teams.

Preferred experience

  • Experience in retail planning, merchandising, supply planning, allocation, or omnichannel commerce.
  • Experience with Oracle EBS upstream or downstream data feeds.
  • Experience improving support processes, automated workflows, and self-service operations.
