MuleSoft Lead Engineer

- Design and implement API-led integration architectures using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, API Manager, and Runtime Manager.
- Develop and maintain Mule applications, connectors, transformations, and event-driven integrations.
- Establish integration standards, design patterns, security controls, and operational best practices.
- Collaborate with application, data, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable and scalable integrations.
- Lead incident response, performance tuning, monitoring, and continuous improvement for integration platforms.
- Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive adoption of integration best practices.
Required experience
- 7+ years of integration experience with 4+ years focused on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
- Strong expertise in Mule 4, DataWeave, API design, connectors, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with API management, security, OAuth, rate limiting, and governance practices.
- Solid understanding of enterprise integration patterns, messaging, and cloud-native architectures.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in enterprise environments.
Preferred experience
- MuleSoft certifications (MCD, MCE, MCA) and experience with large-scale integration programs.
- Experience with Kafka, event streaming, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Experience with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and DevOps practices for integration platforms.
