Design and implement microservices-based architectures using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native patterns.
Lead development of REST/gRPC APIs, event-driven systems, messaging, and integration patterns.
Establish coding standards, architecture guidelines, testing practices, and operational excellence for microservices.
Collaborate with product, architecture, and infrastructure teams to deliver reliable and scalable solutions.
Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and drive continuous improvement in quality and performance.
Support production environments, incident response, performance tuning, and reliability improvements.

Required experience

8+ years of Java development experience with 4+ years focused on microservices and distributed systems.
Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST APIs, messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and cloud platforms.
Experience with containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, and cloud-native architectures.
Solid understanding of database design, caching, security, and performance optimization.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills in enterprise environments.

Preferred experience

Experience with domain-driven design, event sourcing, CQRS, or advanced microservices patterns.
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
Experience leading technical initiatives, architecture reviews, and cross-team collaboration.
